Similar to ATVs, the state of New Mexico has plenty of public land and trails designated for OHV and snowmobile use. As long as signage indicates OHV use and snow is on the ground, snowmobilers are able to ride there. Always check for signage to ensure that a snowmobile is allowed on certain trails.
