Adult and Youth Nature Walk in Waterworks Park with the Des Moines Ikes' Mike Delaney

Join Des Moines Izaak Walton League’s Mike Delaney to discuss Plant Life in the Raccoon Watershed.

Participants will walk the western wild loop of Waterworks Park. The walk will be One Hour, approximately 2 miles, or 4,000 average adult steps, meeting at 4:30 pm in the Ikes Crum Outdoor Education Center. Participation is FREE and open to Adults and Children who are able to walk two miles and want to learn about the out-of-doors. All youth (12 and under) will need an adult with them. No dogs. Dinner at the Ikes will be available for purchase after the walk for interested participants.
