11:00 a.m: Bear Paw Festival Grand Parade Brought to you by Imaging Associates

Bear Paw Festival Grand Parade
Imaging Associates is the proud sponsor of the Grand Parade. Self-proclaimed as the largest parade in Alaska, this parade draws thousands of locals and visitors. Bring your bags, there's plenty of candy to go around.

1:00 p.m: The Slippery Salmon Olympics at Business Blvd. Eagle River, AK  99577
Slippery Salmon Olympics
MTA is the proud sponsor of the Slippery Salmon Olympics. Directly following the Grand Parade come out to the Olympics in front of the Transit Center on Business Blvd. Outside of the Parade, this is the Bear Paw Festival's most popular Signature Event. Relay teams of two individuals negotiate an obstacle course while carrying a full Alaskan salmon (dead of course) and an open bottle of soda! Teams are timed and penalties will be assessed.

4:00 p.m: Human Foosball Tournament at Business Blvd. Eagle River, AK  99577 or inside the Eagle River Alaska Club
The Chugiak-Eagle River Chamber of Commerce brings you the Human Foosball Tournament proudly sponsored by Coca Cola Bottling of Alaska. The Human Foosball Tournament is a fun team-filled event! The Bear Paw Festival Signature Event brings together 6 player teams competing in a large inflatable field for a Shin-Kickin' Good Time!

6:00 p.m: The Bear Paw Alaska Backyard Cornhole Doubles Tournament at Eagle River Town Square Park
The tournament is a popular event at Bear Paw hosting a  doubles tournament for a Cash Prize. Like many of our signature Bear Paw Events, we make our own fun. You will see this tournament is an "Alaskan Backyard" style competition and may not adhere to the official cornhole rules and regulations.
