Gfiber Stem Building:

Explore STEM at DIY Fest! The GFiber STEM Building showcases local innovators, hands-on exhibits, demos, games, and expert talks—fun for all ages!

STEM Exhibits: DIY Engineers display interactive science projects, inventions, virtual reality experiences, prototypes, 3-D printing and other cutting edge technologies sure to pique interest in STEM topics!

Indie Game Day: Come test out and play with games from local developers made here in Utah! Help give feedback to affect the final product or just have fun playing games indoors!
Happening Sunday, August 10 in the GFIber STEM building from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Science of Tattoos: Come learn about the science behind tattoos and if you feel inspired, get tattooed by the artists at Dark Arts with their STEM inspired flash! Move quickly before all appointments are filled.

Kid Row:

Come support the next generation of makers from 12 – 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 10! 

Kid Row is Craft Lake City’s Saturday-only exhibition space specifically for youth makers ages 18 and under. This year’s DIY Festival program will accommodate over 70 Kid Row exhibitors, giving youth artisans the opportunity to sell, promote and exhibit their work while learning the principles of entrepreneurship.

Visit all of our Kid Row exhibitors and get acquainted with the next generation of artisans! Look for Kid Row in the grassy area located near the North entrance and view our full lineup of exhibitors here!

There’s so much for young creatives to enjoy at the DIY Fest! With FREE admission for kids 12 & under and furry friends welcome, you’ll want to bring the whole family!

DIY Festival is dog-friendly! The Dog Oasis Sponsored By PupTub Club is a festival favorite and the ultimate pup pit stop—designed for comfort, fun and a moment of cool-down.

What’s Inside the Dog Oasis?

Thanks to our friends at PupTub Club, we’ve built a true dog oasis that’s more than just a shady patch of grass. Inside, you’ll find:

Splash-worthy dog pools and playful sprinklers
Shady rest areas with raised cots
Potty stations for quick clean-ups
Toys, water bowls and fans to beat the heat
Treats for pups - and even a few for humans
Fun tropical décor, including hula skirts, signage and festival flair

PupTub Club keeps the area clean, stocked and safe all weekend long, so your dog can recharge in comfort.

Dog Tickets & Entry Guidelines:

Well-behaved, vaccinated dogs are welcome at the DIY Festival with a valid Dog Ticket, available for purchase online or at the gate. Accredited service animals receive free admission.

All dog owners must:

Have a valid Dog Ticket
Be able to provide proof of current rabies vaccination
Sign a Dog Owner Liability Waiver (online or onsite)
Ensure dogs are leashed and under control at all times
Pick up after their pets
Avoid rough housing or group play within the Dog Oasis
Be respectful of fellow festivalgoers and furry friends
Always accompany their dogs
