The I Ran the D 5k is an annual 5k celebrating Detroit sports while promoting health and wellness within our community. The event also benefits ChadTough, a local charity that raises money toward curing child brain tumors. Over the past 6 years the I Ran the D 5k has raised over $150,000 for this great charity!

The I Ran the D 5k course start at Comerica Park at the Big Tiger and runs through the streets of the Brush Park neighborhood before circumnavigating Ford Field and finishing back a Comerica Park. All participants are then invited to take a victory lap around Comerica Park field! Registration includes a safe, well organized race, hooded custom long sleeve running shirt with all four Detroit pro sports teams, custom bib and finishers medal with bottle opener.
