La Primavera Festival: A Celebration of Spring

Join us at the Museum of Outdoor Arts’ Marjorie Park for the 2nd annual La Primavera Festival. This family friendly festival is inspired in part by the Gaelic Beltane celebration and European May Day, celebrating spring and summer to come. This family friendly event includes a pancake brunch, live music by Tin Brother Quartet, Maypole folk dance, craft stations such as flower crown making and face painting, yard games, an art themed scavenger hunt with prizes, and an adult beverages bar.

This event will also be the public premiere of our latest temporary art installation within our "Cabinet of Curiosities and Impossibilities" by artist, Jayne Harnett-Hargrove. The artist’s installation is titled "Play Things" and tells the story of objects that the Minotaur played with as a child.

Adults 21+ will receive 3 drink tickets for bar offerings with purchase of an adult admission ticket (includes alcoholic and non-alcoholic options). Additional beverage are available for purchase by credit card or cash.

Youth, ages 5-20, must purchase a youth ticket for admission.
Children under age 5 are free with registration.
