Come to Mission Tejas for our annual folk festival! Come see presentations of pioneer life in Texas around the early to mid-1800's with activities such as butter churning, sewing and other aspects of pioneer life! Food and snacks will be offered by local vendors!

You ever wondered what life was like for Texas pioneers? Come to our annual folk festival as it makes its return to our park with presenters, music and food offered!

Chow down on barbecue while you learn about the many aspects of pioneer life including butter churning, sewing, trapping and other elements of early settler life, including presentations from the Buffalo Soldiers. Listen to music performances while you and your fellow visitors enter our raffle for great prizes!

Please keep note that the majority of the park will still be closed to visitors due to road construction. Steep Ravine Trail will remain the only hiking trail open for the public.

Mission Tejas State Park, additional parking will be made available.

Cost: Free! Admission into the park is free with this event.

Extra water and restroom facilities will be provided to visitors.
