National Night Out, "America's Night Out Against Crime," began in 1984 and communities in all 50 states participate annually. The purpose of National Night Out is to strengthen neighborhood relationships and the police-community partnership, while sending a message to criminals that the neighborhoods are organized against crime.
This year's National Night Out will be an evening to remember. If you haven't already made plans to spend the evening enjoying great food, good camaraderie, and your community...now's the time.
