The Ohio Hill Country Festival is held the Wednesday through Saturday after Labor Day on the downtown streets to celebrate Wellston’s rich Appalachian heritage. We offer a Karaoke Contest, Coal Miner Olympics, a Wednesday Hometown Parade and a Saturday Grand Parade, Baby Contests, Car and Motorcycle Show, Free Entertainment nightly, Rides, Games, Great Food and down home hospitality. Bring your lawn chair, spend the day - or several, and enjoy the old fashioned small town hospitality in historic downtown Wellston, Ohio Everyone’s Hometown since 1873.
