Have you ever run a mile as fast as you can?
Come out and show up for a fast and fun mile race through the heart of the Old First Ward. Whether its your first mile or your 200th mile, come out and chase your 2025 running goals in this fast race! Challenge the best amongst the Buffalo running community in this race presented by Checkers AC. After the race swing by Resurgence and enjoy some cold beverages with your best mates.
This race is part of the USATF Niagara runner of the year series and Buffalo runner of the year series and heats will be split up by gender with a separate kids race.

All athletes under the age of 13 are able to compete in the kids race to earn special prizes.

Women of all ages are able to compete. Includes open racers and USATF racers.

Men of all ages are able to compete. Includes open racers and USATF racers.

Awards
Awards will be presented on the field directly in front of Resurgence Brewery. There will be a podium and awards for the top in each age group.
