The Genius of Joplin, or What I Learned from Learning All of Joplin, presented by Grammy nominated pianist Richard Dowling. It is never right to play ragtime fast. —- Composer” and give practical advice about what that means. He also talks about a particular compositional “signature” often found in Joplin’s works and perform several short examples, ending with a “guided tour” of the carefully executed and architecturally balanced score of Euphonic Sounds, the piece that Joplin considered to be his best work.
