Salisbury Rowan Runners (SRR) - Prediction Run 5K - presented by Ralph Baker's Shoes, Topo Athletic, and Bojangles!
Back by popular demand!! All Salisbury Rowan Runners Club members (current as of August 23, 2025) are invited to join us!
To those of you who haven't heard of a prediction run, here's how it works. All SRR member participants, any age or gender, will make a prediction at race check-in on how fast they will run/walk a 5K course around City Lake.
We'll use the old First Methodist Missions 5K course (see map below), including three laps around the lake. At the starting line or before, any participant must remove their watch and phone and not receive any time coaching from anyone along the course. No finish line clocks will be used. Finish times will be posted after the race.
The participant that comes closest to their predicted time will win a free pair of running shoes from Ralph Baker's Shoes. 2nd place will receive free entry to 2026 Winter Flight 8k/5k (2-1-26)! 3rd place will receive free entry to the Santa Run 5K (12-13-25)!
