This is an annual event that is planned the third weekend in July. We ask that posts to this site pertain specifically to the annual event, as a way of communicating upcoming activities, sharing thoughts and ideas for possible improvements-additions, as well as any questions regarding the happenings

7:30 am - 10:30 am: Pancake Breakfast-All you can eat
There is a cost
$5-person donation goes to the Vestaburg Community Days.

8:00 am - 3:00 pm: Art Show
Location: Vestaburg Middle School Lobby

8:30 am: Sand Volleyball Tournament
Teams can consist of 4, 5, or 6 people w-a maximum of 3 men per team. Entry fee is $50-team. Contact Bruce Keyes at 616-460-2100 for details or to sign up. Register by July 9th.

9:00 am - 12:00 pm: Military Activities for Kids
Location: South of Peasley's Home Center

9:30 am - 3:00 pm: Bazaar
Vendors can rent a space for $25 to display and sell their items. Contact Sue Beetley at tsbeetleyatcmsinter.net (989-760-1092) in order to register.

9:00 am - 3:30 pm: Historic Displays
The Vestaburg Historical Society will display an array of area his-torical items and displays. Anyone is welcomed to display iterns: pictures, tools, linens; anything that represents a time period of our community. Call Dianne Wilson (989-268-5143) for info.

Drake Watson-Magical Entertainer - FREE!
Drake's Mystic Magic show is a whacked out blend of mystery, comedy and sleight of hand. The show is packed full of audience participa-tion, colorful props and lots of family fun. Catch his shows today at 10:30 (near the parade downtown), 2:30 (near the children's games), and 5:30 (picnic area).

Pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, coleslaw, chips and drink. Adults $10; Children 12 and under $8.

A display of equipment built by area businesses.

For children ages 3-10.

Enjoy a horse-drawn wagon ride around town. Provided by Biddinger Farms.

Come and join the Vestaburg Community Choir in celebrating the freedoms we enjoy as Americans. Veterans and first responders will be honored.

9:00 pm - 10:00 pm: Shine A Light
This year's donations will go to Todd and Sherma Horrocks. These community leaders are both deal-ing with health issues and the expenses that go with them. Sign up at any local church to place a lumi-naria for a $5.00 donation. All are welcome to en joy a leisurely walk and view the luminarias that have been dedicated.
