About Us:

Amelia Park  is an ice arena/sports complex and memorial garden, financed by the late Westfield philanthropist Albert F. Ferst (1919-2011), in memory of his wife Amelia.  In 2000, the Ice Arena that Millie envisioned several years ago became a reality.  Unfortunately, her early death prohibited this gracious lady from seeing one of the Ferst's many generous acts to the Westfield community come to fruition. The Albert & Amelia Ferst Operating Foundation, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit entity, was formed in 1998, with the expressed purpose of building & maintaining this recreational facility and garden in her memory.

The main building is a 47,000 square foot facility which includes a NHL sized ice rink with seating for 600; party rooms; a skate rental and sharpening area; limited pro-shop; four locker rooms and a food concession area. A 65 ² x 170 ² outside inline skating rink is located next to the main building and near Amelia's Garden, a 1.3 acre memorial park.
