Myers Lake Park

With fun playgrounds, plenty of spaces for impromptu picnics, great fishing and a free public beach with changing rooms, Myers Lake Park is like a mini vacation retreat for many area families!

Activities and Facilities

Picnicking
The park normally provides 15-20 picnic tables arranged in clusters along the shore of lake and near the playgrounds. These picnic tables are all available on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, the park offers a small picnic shelter that holds 4-6 picnic tables for a capacity of roughly 30-45 people. This shelter is centrally located between the parking lot, playgrounds and beach changing house and is also first-come, first served.

Fishing
The shoreline at Myers Lake Park offers a great spot to wade in and do some fishing. Fishing is not allowed near the swim area. In recent years, anglers fishing Myers Lake have caught several 9 inch sunfish (pumpkinseeds) and 14-15 inch crappies.

Swim Beach
The swim beach at Myers Lake has grassy banks with a sandy area at the water's edge and a good sand base in the water. There is no charge to use the beach at Myers Lake Park. A changing facility with restrooms is available between the parking lot and the beach.

Playgrounds
Two play structures adjacent to each other are located just 50 yards off the main parking lot. This playground area is also near the open picnic shelter, picnic tables and the swim beach changing building and restrooms.
