Riders must be at least 12 years-old to operate an ATV in a ditch along a roadway or in a designated OHV area. If the ATV is licensed as a motorcycle, the driver must be at least 14 years-old and possess a valid driver's license. Those under 18 must also wear a helmet when operating an ATV.
