Red River's New Mayfest in the Mountains is a Family-friendly Weekend That Will Honor Our Vets While Offering Games, Workshops, Exhibits, Local Music, and a Painting Quick Draw Sponsored by the Questa Creative Council.
The Events Will Be Held Throughout the Town at Many Venues. The QCC Quick Draw, to Be Held on Sunday 5/26, Will Be Free to All, With Adult and Kid/youth Artists Encouraged to Take Part. Cash Prizes Up to $200 Will Be Awarded! No Pre-registration is Required, Just Arrive Between 8-9am Ready to Paint. Kids/youth Will Be Given Free Painting Supplies. Adults Are Expected to Bring All Their Materials.
All Participants Will Check in at the Gazebo in the Central Brandenburg Park, Get Their Canvases Stamped to Confirm They Are Producing Fresh Work. Then Artists Will Scatter to the Scenic Locales of Their Choice and Paint, Paint, Paint, Until 3pm.
Afternoon Will See Quick-draw Event Activities Move to the Vine (Formerly T Bucks on Main St). Art Works Will Be Checked in, Judging Will Occur, Prizes Will Be Awarded, and Sales Can Begin at 4pm During a Lovely Reception With Food, Live Music, and Drink on Offer.
