Our NY State 18-hour pistol permit qualification course is given over an entire weekend, and is designed to take a BRAND NEW shooter who has never fired a gun, from First Shot basics to drawing from a concealed holster and passing all range qualifications and written tests! We use Airsoft pistols to teach you how to safely and properly handle a firearm and "run the gun" on our indoor range, then move on to .22 pistols for more practice and the actual range qualifications. Most of our students fire 200+ rounds during the weekend and score above a 90%! You will also have the opportunity to fire a self-defense pistol of your choice (9mm, .40S&W, .45ACP). The complete class schedule is Friday 6/7 5pm-10pm, Sat 6/8 8am-8pm (all meals included), and Sun 6/9 range qualifications for 2 hours (appointments at 2pm, 4pm, or 6pm).
