The Olympic Peninsula offers amazing steelhead and salmon opportunities. Badger Lake and the Columbia River are also renowned freshwater fishing spots. Try your hand along the Kalama River or from the shores of Heart Lake. The Grande Ronde and Snake River are also worthwhile.
