N.C. Voters to Decide on Protecting Hunting and Fishing

This election season, North Carolinians will be given the opportunity to enshrine hunting and fishing in their state’s Constitution. The proposed constitutional amendment will appear on the November ballot and would guarantee “the right of the people to hunt, fish, and harvest wildlife.” North Carolina’s more than 1.6 million sportsmen and women spend more than $2.3 billion annually, while supporting over 35,000 jobs. Constitutionally protecting the American heritage of hunting and fishing for future generations is critically important as radical anti-hunting organizations will stop at nothing to destroy our heritage and wildlife conservation in America.
