Snowmobiles are not allowed on public highways or streets in Kansas, except to make crossings, and never on interstates or freeways. They can be ridden on unplowed roads and along rights of way that are impassable due to snow or, in counties or municipalities that have voted to allow such snowmobile use. Check local ordinances before you go.
