In order to buy a hunting license in Massachusetts, you must have completed a Basic Hunter Education course in any U.S. state, or in Canada or Mexico. You must then purchase your license online where you will be asked to fill out an electronic affidavit confirming one of the following: "I have held a hunting or sporting license prior to Jan. 1, 2007," or "I have successfully completed a Basic Hunter Education course."
