Most hunting seasons occur during the autumn and winter in Kansas. Some seasons do extend into the late winter and spring and other species may be hunted year-round. Kansas has a tremendous variety of game that can be hunted, ranging from rattlesnakes to sandhill cranes. Be sure to check the regulations each year for any changes to season dates, bag and possession limits, or other restrictions. The seasons and regulations can be found online or in the print version of the regulations.
