Idaho is renowned for its salmonids: trout and salmon. Eight species of trout, including steelhead, brown and lake trout, and three species of salmon cruise the waters of Idaho. Anglers will also find crappie, largemouth and smallmouth bass, walleye, tiger muskie, channel catfish, and white sturgeon in the state's lakes, rivers, and streams.
