Ducks Unlimited has worked on several projects in Siskiyou County including

Shasta Valley Wildlife Area
DU partnered with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife to replace a water-control structure at Bass Lake. This project will help the area manage its water supply, which has become less reliable in recent years.

Beaver Creek Helicopter Wood Loading Project
This project added large wood structures to West Fork Beaver Creek to improve habitat for native fish. The project was funded to help improve conditions for aquatic species.

Klamath Basin
DU has worked on several projects in the Klamath Basin, including:
- Lower Klamath NWR: DU and partners developed a plan to improve water availability and conveyance.
- Upper Klamath NWR: DU and the USFWS are planning to restore wetlands and fish habitat.
- Tule Lake NWR: DU and partners are planning an infrastructure assessment to improve water quality and habitat for migratory waterfowl and endangered sucker fish.
