You do not need to register your ATV in South Dakota, nor are there any other licensing requirements unless you license it as a motorcycle (only available for four-wheeled ATVs that are 200cc or over). On the other hand, all ATVs must be titled by the Department of Revenue in the same manner as any other vehicle in South Dakota.
