What happens when acclaimed cellist/composer Clancy Newman teams up with pianist/composer/improviser extraordinaire Stewart Goodyear? Sparks will fly!
Prepare to be delighted by an impromptu program of music for cello and piano—both Stewart and Clancy are accomplished soloists and chamber music artists who will perform classical repertoire as well as their original compositions. This will be the perfect opportunity to get to know these personable stars of the chamber music world—Stewart Goodyear wowed CMNW audiences last summer, and this is Clancy’s first appearance in Portland. Guests will be treated to a lovely garden reception at Karen & Cliff Deveney’s classic Eastmoreland home in Southeast Portland.
