Schedule of Events:

10:00AM - Annual Parade

Starting at the State House parking lot, around Memorial Circle, down Rines Hill through Water Street and across the Calumet Bridge to end at Old Fort Western.

11:30AM - Old Fort Western Annual Festivities

Reading of the Declaration of Independence by Mayor O’Brien accompanied by a "feu de joie" (musket salute) by Fort staff. Join the “Old Time 4th Celebration” for games, pie-eating contest, wagon rides, and a performance by the Downeast Brass Band. BBQ Chicken & Strawberry Shortcake luncheon by Club Calumet. NEW this year, shuttle between Mill Park and Old Fort Western.

1:30PM - Family Fun at Mill Park

Bounce houses, storywalk, games, bubbles, food trucks, and more!

4:30PM - Mill Park Celebration

Live music & food Trucks

9:05PM - Fireworks Display

The best viewing of the fireworks will be from Mill Park - 1 Northern Ave, Augusta, ME
