We will check out feeding activity at the park’s pea patch. Birds are attracted to the sunflower heads and blackberries. Flocks of wintering Golden-crowned and White-crowned Sparrows, Fox Sparrows, Cedar Waxwings, and Anna’s Hummingbirds may be found in the park. On the lake, wintering ducks and grebes should be arriving. This is an easy walk through the park. Be mindful that the weather may be wet, cold, and the trails muddy.
