The Clarksville Rotary Club is proud to announce the 7th Annual GO COMMANDO HALF MARATHON AND 5K which will be held in Clarksville, TN on Saturday, October 21, 2017.
This year’s half marathon and 5K course will take you through gently rolling hills outside the city limits of Clarksville. Lots of entertainment along the route. There will be water stops and port-a-potties locations scattered throughout the course to provide all necessary amenities for an overall awesome experience. This is a nationally recognized certified course, so start training now to have your Personal Best Time.
There will also be a Kids Fun Run for children under 10 years old that also want to participate in the race day festivities. Parents and guardians are welcome and can run fee with their children.
Awesome finisher medals, and top 3 overall in each age group and gender. CASH prize for top three overall male and female in both the Half Marathon and the 5K.
Then stick around for a fun-filled day of activities to include a variety of food and beverage, many facets of entertainment and activities for the entire family.
Let’s not forget our amazing servicemen and women who are in Afghanistan running the Go Commando Shadow Run simultaneously with us at home!! For it is because of ALL our current and past military service members that we are free to GO COMMANDO!!
7:30am - HALF MARATHON begins at (runners and walkers)
NOTE: There is a FOUR (4) hour time limit for the half marathon. TRAFFIC WILL RESUME at 11:30am.*
8:00am - The 5K begins(runners and walkers).
10:30am - Kids Run Run begins (for children 10 years and younger).
Stick around for our after race party back at the Old Glory Distilling Company. While waiting for awards presentation to take place, take advantage of our free beer trailer, serving Michelob Ultra; there’s also Water, Gatorade or Chocolate Milk available.
Food trucks will be on site for you to purchase your favorite after run proteins, carbs, or just good ole’ sweets.
Entertainment, College football viewing on the large screen inside the venue, as well as, corn hole. Feel free to walk around and tour the Old Glory Distilling Company.
BAG DROP will be inside the venue in the concessions window the morning of the races.
As you pass each Cheer Squad and Water Stop Crew along the race route, keep in the back of your mind your favorite and let us know at the finish line. There are prizes for the best themed, most enthusiastic team.

Online registration will shut down at 10:00 pm on Wednesday, October 18, 2017
Runners will be able to register in person on Friday, October 20, until 7:00 PM at the Health & Fitness Expo
Deadline for guaranteeing a t-shirt size is August 1, 2017.
