July 4th Celebration

All of this starting with a Children’s Bike Parade followed by our 10AM Independence Day Parade which flows into the 11AM – 1:30PM BBQ & Events in the Park until 3PM. Park events will be followed by live music in numerous locations throughout the community during the afternoon and evening.

SHOPS WILL BE OPEN! – don’t miss visiting these UNIQUE AND INTRIGUING locations!!!

Plus the Little Theater will give a rendition of the Great and Historic Comfort Cannon Caper from the 1800s – A MUST see.

A Children's Bike Parade will start the day on High Street between 8th and 6th Street followed at 10AM by the Independence Day Parade

A BBQ in the Park will follow from 11AM to 1:30 plus live music, a Silent Auction, and events until 3PM

An Apple Pie Contest will be featured in the park with entries due at the park starting at 10AM. Judging before noon. Details for entry are located under 'Event Form' on this website or through the Chamber Office. Face Painting is FREE with contributions for park improvements appreciated! Games for all ages. Booths with a variety of merchandise, art, jewelry & tasty treats from 11 to 3pm. Live music from 11 to 2pm. A silent auction filled with treasures from 11am to a time to be determined - possibly about 2pm. SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE!

Festivities in Comfort's Historic Downtown and throughout the community!

Live Music, a Silent Auction Treasure Hunt throughout the Downtown Historic District.

The Little Theater will reenact Comfort's Historic Cannon Caper in the Backyard, sometime in the afternoon or evening..

Comfort's Shops will be open throughout the day and live music will be available in numerous locations throughout the downtown and surrounding areas.

A silent auction, treasure hunt will be held in downtown shops.
