South Street near the intersection of 8th

The Philly 10K was simply an idea backed by passion and creativity. Today, thanks to the support of the strongest running community in the country, The Philly 10K has become a race that is both iconic but still intimate and local.

The race is a 6.2 mile slice of authentic South Philly and Center City, passing through two of Philadelphia’s most vibrant corridors (13th Street + East Passyunk) and past one of its most historic (Italian Market) along with 76 city blocks that most of us have walked, shopped, biked, BBQ’d on, or called home.

Put on by a group of proud and dedicated Philadelphians since 2014, we celebrate the history, diversity, and unique neighborhood fabric that makes each of us proud to call this city home.

We run Philly, because we love Philly.

Course Information:
The race starts on South Street near the intersection of 8th and explores large parts of South Philly and Center City before ending back on South between 4th and 5th Street.

Post Race Party at 4th and Bainbridge afterward.

The course navigates both neighborhood and commercial corridors and varies in width and surface. Runners should remain aware of other runners and street conditions as they run through this unique urban course.
