Ready, Set, Run!

The Village of Lake in the Hills will host the Run Thru the Hills (RTTH) 5K Run/Walk, Bark in the Hills Two-Mile Dog Walk, and Hop ‘n Trot Kid’s 100-Yard Dash.

Enjoy the natural beauty and charm of the hills that surround the four lakes located within the eastern portion of the Village. The race will take participants through one of the McHenry County Scenic Roads, challenging hills surrounded by beautiful forested neighborhoods, views of the lakes, and iconic parks such as Turtle Island and Indian Trail Beach.

The cutoff date for online registration is Friday, April 14, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. or when race registration has reached a total of 400 5k Run/Walk entries, 30 Kid’s Dash entries, or 30 Two-Mile Dog Walk entries. Event day registration will be accepted from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at race headquarters.
