Pitch, Please! - is an artist-driven launch pad for OTV Fellows seeking additional funding and resources to to elevate their creative projects to new heights with the support of us at SeriesFest. Select participants from the 2024 OTV Fellows Cohort will have the opportunity to pitch their series, short-films and video art concepts to a panel of creative advisors and OTV Community members for a chance to secure up to $30,000 in resources, prizes and more, Take a look at our outstanding creative advisors and participating fellows.

Chervine Naamani, a multilingual manager-producer at ColorCreative, has built a multicultural roster of next-generation filmmakers and writers, drawing from his diverse background as the Paris-born son of Iranian political refugees and graduate of Assas Law School.
Jennifer Loren, an Emmy-winning filmmaker and Senior Director of Cherokee Film, leads efforts to authentically share Cherokee culture while advocating globally for Native American representation in media through her leadership, broadcast work, and service on key industry boards.
Kiana Chambers, Creative Executive at Wondaland Pictures, champions bold, culturally nuanced storytelling centered on women, LGBTQIA+, and people of color, leveraging her experience with high-profile projects like Queen & Slim and Insecure to amplify underrepresented voices in film.
Participating Fellows
Laya Pellerin-Tate, a trans, bakla Filipina-American filmmaker from Chicago, centers women of color in her work, including her pitch, Not Like Other Vampires, a short film where two queer Filipina-American vampires struggle to maintain their secret while navigating familial expectations.
Céline Tshika, a DRC-born, Johannesburg-raised actor, writer, and comedian known for her award-winning web series Jess Goes West and viral sketches like Stank Like a Man, explores dark comedy with her limited series Surprise!, where a Congolese immigrant faces shocking consequences after a deadly mishap at her surprise party.
Dante Ureta, a Mexican multidisciplinary artist challenging capitalism and patriarchy through anti-colonial storytelling, presents El Camino De Alex, a short film following a trans boy confronting rigid masculinity in Sinaloa, Mexico.
