Oklahoma is home to several excellent fisheries, some of which are even in urban centers like Lake Hefner. Thunderbird Lake is another popular spot among anglers in the Sooner State. Lake Arrowhead and the Canadian River are also awesome fisheries. Lake Evans Chambers is a dedicated public fishing lake; the Blue River, Lake Carl Etling, and the Lower Mt. Fork River are designated trout waters.
