In Kansas, an ATV is considered a "nonhighway" vehicle. Nonhighway vehicles are exempt from registration in Kansas. While, there is no registration requirement for your ATV, you are required to have a certificate of title. Some counties may require local registration of an ATV. Check with your county treasurer to be sure.
