All hunters, resident or non-resident, must have a valid license to hunt in the state of Indiana. You must wear orange clothing that meets the state's requirements. Only game that is in season can be hunted, and only with the arms permitted by the season. Certain game, such as deer, turkey, and migratory game birds, require an additional stamp (endorsement) before you can hunt them. Be sure to familiarize yourself with Indiana's hunting regulations before you head out every year, as there may have been changes during the off-seasons.
