You can ride your snowmobile in open riding areas designated by the U.S. Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management. The U.S. Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management provide travel plan maps that show riding areas and closure dates. You can find these maps on page 24 of the Idaho Parks and Recreation Department Snowmobiling brochure. You can also find contact information for local offices on page 23 of this brochure.
