The hunting seasons for all game animals are published annually in the Indiana Hunting & Trapping Guide, which is available online or in print from the DNR or most license vendors. You can also view the hunting seasons on the DNR's website. As in other Midwestern states, most hunting seasons occur during the fall and early winter months. Some exceptions include, raccoon, opossum, striped skunk, crow, and certain frogs and turtle-these all have longer seasons that may include spring or summer months. There is also a spring season for turkey.
