All snowmobiles in Pennsylvania must be registered with the DCNR. Pennsylvania offers two forms of registration: General and Limited. General Registration allows for snowmobiles to be operated on and off an owner's private property whereas Limited Registration only allows snowmobiles to be used on private land owned by the snowmobile owner.
