The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management is in charge of several areas within the state where hunting is allowed. It is wise to contact the office to make sure no restrictions have been temporarily put into place. Hunting is also allowed on private property with permission from the property manager. No hunting is allowed within 500 feet of any occupied building.
