Snowmobiles can be utilized on local and state trails and public lands open to motorized vehicles. If your snowmobile is registered in another state or country, riders must obtain a Snowmobile Trail Sticker to utilize on state and grant-in-aid trails. Riders are also allowed on iced-over waters (that have legal access) and township roads, if not restricted by law or local ordinances. The most important thing to remember is to check with local regulations before you ride. For more information about the details of where and when to ride click here.
