To purchase a hunting license, first create a personal account with the NewMexico Department of Game and Fish. This account can be created onlineor by telephone at 1-888-248-6866. Your account must have a registered Customer Identification Number (CIN). For some hunters, both a license and permit are required to hunt, depending on species and hunt type. All hunters must also have a Habitat Management & Access Validation and a Habitat Stamp in order to hunt.
