In order to fish in Illinois, you will need a valid fishing license. Various licenses and permits are available, from daily Sport Fishing Licenses for residents or non-residents to Resident Lifetime Sportsmen’s Combination Hunting/Fishing License. Licenses can be purchased from the Department of Natural Resources Website, at DNR offices or from an authorized vendor.
