In Nebraska, anglers can find a wide array of species—even some you wouldn't expect to see in a Great Plains state. Bass, walleye, catfish, and northern pike, along with several varieties of panfish can be caught in the state's rivers, lakes and reservoirs. You will also find skipjack herring, striped bass, muskie, and trout in Nebraska's waters. Chinook salmon even roam a couple of the state's lakes. You just have to hit the right honey hole to find them.
