Children under the age of eight may not operate an ATV even on private land. A child between the ages of eight and 12 may only operate an ATV with an engine capacity of 70cc and a child between the ages of 12 and 16 may operate an ATV with an engine of 90cc. All children under the age of 16 years-old must be supervised by a person 18 or older.
