You may hunt on any MassWildlife lands, including wildlife managementareas, wildlife conservation easements, and access areas. You may also hunt at most state forests and parks, however not within 500 feet of any campsite or picnic area, residence, service building, or swimming area. Some Massachusetts towns allow hunting on municipal land. There are five national wildlife refuges in the Bay State that permit hunting. You may hunt with permission on private land.
