You can choose between two hunter education course options. The first option is the Traditional Hunter Education Course. It includes a minimum of 10 hours of classroom, homework, and field instruction and successful completion of a final exam. You can view a list of options at the Traditional Hunter Education website. The second option is to attend an online course. You have to complete the course and also take a four-hour follow up class with a certified Hunter Education Instructor.
