Hunting season varies depending on the game being hunted and weapon used. For example, for antlerless deer, the season typically starts August 1 and runs to Dec. 31. For antlerless elk, the season is typically from August 1 to Jan 31. For rifle buck deer hunters, the season runs from Sept. 1 to Nov. 10. However for archery buck deer hunters, the season runs from August 20 to Nov. 10. Turkey hunting season is short typically from early April to late May.
