Garden State anglers who enjoy freshwater fishing head out to Lake Lenape, Makepeace Lake, Union Lake, Lake Hopatcong, and the Round Valley Reservoir. Inshore anglers head for the back bays, while saltwater anglers cast from the beaches and rocks up and down the Jersey Shore. The Raritan and Delaware Rivers are also excellent spots for anglers.
